Delete your account
Two ways to remove your Typestead licence account, and exactly what happens to the data.

In the app (fastest)
- Open Typestead.
- Go to Settings, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your licence account is removed from our server straight away and the app signs out on every device.
Without the app
Email us from the address of the Google account (or Apple ID) you use with Typestead, with the subject “Delete my Typestead account”. We'll reply to confirm it's you and then delete the account. We aim to finish within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account record: the scrambled account code, your devices and model names, and your purchase status and token.
- On iPhone, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple authorisation.
What we keep, and why
To stop repeat free trials we keep, under an anonymous code that can't be turned back into your account: your trial start date and new-device activation times for 30 days, and the first trial date for each device ID. Nothing else.
Deleting your account does not refund a purchase; refunds go through Google Play. Your files are never on our server, so there is nothing of yours to delete there.
